When my 18 year old son broke down and was told by another mobile mechanic that he blew a head gasket and was going to cost him $5500 to fix. The RACV towed the car to the nearest RACV centre, Ocean Grove Automotive. They said they will check the diagnosis and with enormous honesty and integrity fixed my sons car, gave us a correct diagnosis and only cost my son $198. We are both so grateful to find an honest mechanic and so happy we weren’t taken advantage of, we both had tears of joy. My daughters and I have been getting our cars serviced and maintained at Ocean Grove Automotive for over 6 years now. Their pricing has always been better than the fixed price servicing offered by the dealership and we always receive a call if any additional work needs doing. Recently I had to have my brakes replaced. Chris showed me a video explaining why my car needed brake pads and rotors, this was extremely informative and helped me understand fully what was being replaced and why.
